Prelude Connect App
Prelude had been a client for some time, so they asked me to serve as a brand advisor to the development team building their patient portal app. My role soon grew and I began contributing to the user journey and eventually built prototypes, participated in user testing and built the final design system under the lead designer’s direction.
Post launch, I was responsible for design and prototyping for subsequent phases which added additional features and functionality.
Design System
Working with the lead designer, I created all components to build the design system. For subsequent post-launch enhancements, I designed icons and components within the established system.


Prototype
The complexity of the user flows we needed to test and the dependencies built on specific user actions required a high-fidelity prototype for user testing before moving into development. I utilized many of Figma's then new layout and boolean features to aid in the build.


Phase 2 Enhancements
I assumed the lead design role for enhancements released after the initial redesign. Using the system we helped create, I designed additional features and enhancements post-launch.

Payment Module Enhancement
A patient checklist had been on the wish list during the initial project, but was delayed to Phase 2. Working within the design system I helped establish, I designed a checklist that helps patients stay up-to-date in their IVF journey.

Another enhancement implemented in Phase 2 was the payment module. I redesigned the payment module to make it more straightforward and to incorporate payment history information.
